Old Photographs..

We were at that age when secret pockets were a
proud treasure and the simpsons were forbidden.
When ice cream was a myth
and a banana meant dinner.

Sitting in that house with ancient windows;
the four walls of our world - Now a distant grave.

We were at that age when barby had invaded;
You said you left me for ken, I now know who ken was.

At that age where holding hands was
unheard of and fakely detested, where i turned down
your dance proposal. - I still don't regret it.

At the age when the outside seemed endless.
When emotions were limited and safe to exhibit..
