Ripley's Where art Thou

New breakthroughs in technology has uncovered the pattern of aging
well not exactly new, it just seems like it
they have found that age resembles a blanket
It covers each individual, but only taking effect every two years
contrary to popular belief based on gravity, the sun etc..

Rather than knocking you senseless
It invites itself in(like that distant family relative we know we all got)
and pretends to be your closest buddy
sharing every moment and memory you have
which includes that first bicycle ride, tooth, word.. (you get the picture)
till one day you notice something different in the mirror
and your like, damn! - when did that happen?!
